    Re: 2014 Draft Discussion

That's awful, I always noticed his play the past few years when watching Baylor play.

There was a rumor that the Pelicans were possibly dangling Jrue Holiday to a team like the Kings for their 1st round pick, not sure I agree with that if they really are.

He's the same guy who's half-blind. Kid can't catch a break. Hope he can get a job with the NBA or something and stay in good health.

Don't know if someone put up a link and for whatever reason it didn't show on Tapatalk.

I didn't know what it was myself, here's a link.

It sucks, but it's good that they caught it now and not before it was too late and he died out there in a game.

I don't care if he declared for the draft, I will be very disappointed if Baylor doesn't honor his scholarship.

It won't happen, but I would love to see a team that has a bunch of second round picks that normally picks an international guy that will never come over pick him. He's obviously never going to play, but it would be a great gesture imo.

Raptors have brought in LOTS of guys to their draft workouts who aren't even projected to be drafted. Austin is another name that was at their workouts too. They have 59th pick so maybe they might consider just drafting him as part of that nice gesture considering that many of the guys they probably worked out, they'll invite to summer league or something anyways so won't hurt them to pass on a guy in the draft.

As I tweeted to a fan comment, Isaiah Austin will be a draft honoree, decided by Adam Silver who continues to shine. More details to come.

I know he's young, and still in the honeymoon phase, but Adam Silver is the best commissioner in sports at the moment and it's not even close. So glad Stern is gone.

I would pick him with that Raptors Pick also it dosnt matter since he's actually already has his life planned due to the fact Baylor offered him one of the Coaching Spots in 2 years when he gets his degree so its nice glad he has a good future.

I see Bazzy got a Green Room invitation. Nice climb from those late 50's projections three months ago.

I don't know if I'd rather have him over Ennis, but it's close. Someone might end up picking him over Elfrid Payton though and that would be a big mistake imo.

Wow DX actually has Payton going #12. I think he's probably the clear #3 point in this class after Exum/Smart and can make a case he's right there with Smart.

I'm sure this changes a few teams draft boards now.

I'm all about Payton in this draft. Dude's got it all if he can shoot the ball a little better.

So perhaps the positive thing we can hope for is that unlike Yao and Big Z, Emiid is much more athletic than the 2 bigs and perhaps that could play a part in his recovery.
How the heck does athleticism play a part in any broken bones healing?
