Has to do with the way he excited the situation. I appreciate everything Doc did during his time in Boston. As does everyone who is a Celtics fan. Doesn't excuse how he handled his departure.

What exactly did he do that was that bad? Its not like he went "see ya losers, im goin to la" or did he? idk

Sign an extension he had no plans to fulfill. Listen, I'm grateful for the success he had here and the compensation Boston received when he left. That doesn't change the way it all went down leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

the thing that actually made me dislike doc for this is how he acted about it.

he actually told the clippers who they were allowed to trade to boston before the NBA said they couldn't...not to mention hes completely overated

Not surprising. He uses the pull up a lot, he gets the shot a lot and he makes it a lot. He's been doing it for a while now.

Hopefully the Boston crowd boos Doc Rivers out of the Garden tonight. Doubt it happens because Celtics fans are soft.

Since you're not one of the "soft" ones, are you going to boo him and flip him off every chance you get then?

When did he sign the extension. For how long and how do you know he had no intention of fulfilling it? These are serious questions by the way. I can't remember the details.

i think he signed a 3-5 year extension in 2012 or 13 summer

He signed a 5 year deal in 2011. Tbh, if the celtics are rebuilding, why would doc wanna stay? you go from being a contender to rebuilding, heck players leave over ish like that, why wouldn't a coach?
