Mistake number one is keeping Johnny "moral victory" Davis as coach next year. After hiring a JV hockey GM to be the GM, and keeping John Gabriel on the staff as a player scouter, I don't see how you could be optimistic about this team. Okafor wouldn't help the team like they need it. It'll take him a few years to develop anyhow. Tmac has been shafted enough. I don't think he'll stay if it comes to it.

He was talking about staying if they get the right pieces last week, and the GM heard about it, and started talking about how he doesn't care what anyone says and how he'll do what he feels with the team and so on. At first I couldn't believe it, then I realized the entire front office of that team is continually a real mess.

I say dwight howard because he is 6 foot 11 which is good size for a power forward, and i've seen him play a little. He can knock down perimeter shots and dribble well. Think he will be like Kevin Garentt, probably not as good a perimter player, but probably a better post player.

I say they should ship out dwight gooden and juwan howard. Maybe they should go after a pg like steve nash. They could maybe give juwan howard to the mavs for brent barry as well.
