And DeRozan got hurt so Ross was the main guy who made so much threes.

2 HUGE dunks during Raptors-Clippers game. From 2013 dunk champ and 2011 dunk champ.

      Spoiler
I barely catch him play only see highlights and 2k. He seems like a good player though . His he like a Gerald Green or Harrison Barnes type player? That's what it seems like

But yeah oj, mentioning Haywood in place of Chandler is way off, Haywood was and still is ****ing horrible. Chandler was undoubtedly the piece that took the Mavs over the top and I don't think ex is really overstating his importance by all that much.

Not trying to be funny but man some of the time these conversations dont belong in the game thread. Thats what the OT thread is for becuase its too diluted talking about something non game related

I'm hoping he ends up like Jason Richardson type player.

I wasn't mentioning him in place of Chandler though?..

I was just stating that Chandler wasn't the only player capable of playing defense. Haywood is garbage, but he's always been a good shot blocker. I mentioned him the same as I mentioned Kidd, Marion, Stevenson.. Just to state that one player wasn't the sole reason they had a good defensive team.

I don't know where he got off thinking I was comparing the two of them, or acting like I was somehow talking bad about Tyson by naming off his teammates.

The Mavs were successful because of Dirk Nowitzki. The Blazers are successful because of LaMarcus Aldridge.

Its gotta be tough coaching Kevin Martin.....all his shots look like bad/ off balance shots whether they are or not..

and I had no idea Chase Budinger was back...

Is this a typo or is Terrence Ross having 51 points tonight?

& Here I thought Terrance Ross could only dunk.

I think he was drafted as a shooter if I'm not mistaken. I think his athletic ability and being able to dunk that well was somewhat of a surprise. Nice to see a big game from him.

The only time I've ever watched him is when he won last years dunk contest. He's very athletic so I take it that he just isn't aggressive going to the rim in a half court setting? Definitely a good shooter with 10-17 from 3!

Most of the games I've watched of him he just seemed to settle for the jumpers a little much. Though it seemed to be a theme with most of the team and not just him. DeRozan takes too many outside shots, especially for how good he plays when he attacks.. Rudy Gay was taking too many bad outside shots in Toronto, and Lowry at times takes quite a few as well..

Don't catch quite enough Toronto games to know if that's just how they like them to play or not. And I didn't see tonight's game either.

Also I don't think he's really been in a position to contribute much until more recently.. He's never really even been a top 3 option. I don't know that I've ever watched a game where he's taken much more than 5 or so shots. But like I said it's not often I'm watching a Raptors game.

Think he lacks the handle to consistently attack the rim is all it is. Thought he was a huge reach at 8 but he's better than I thought and with how weak the 2 is hes got a bright future.
