Here's something I've been thinking about. If Duncan won it last year over KG, how can KG win it this year when you look at this.
Duncan last year:
23 PPG, 4 assists, 13 boards, 51% FG, 3 Blocks
Duncan This Year:
22 PPG, 3 assists, 12 boards, 50% FG, 3 blocks
Garnett Last Year:
23 PPG, 6 assists, 14 boards, 50% FG, 2 blocks
Garnett This Year:
24 PPG, 5 assists, 14 boards, 50% FG, 2 blocks
Duncan's numbers may be down a bit, like one for each, and KG's are pretty even. If Duncan won it last year over KG, and KG hasnt improved with Duncan losing a little bit, maybe KG should win it. However, look at all the help he got this year in Cassell and Sprewell...I remember hearing a lot of talk about people cant win the MVP with a lot of help with them....

I say KG wins it over all this year, because I think he's the best player on the best team in the league. He was right, if he had more players around him, he could put the team on his back, easily. He showed it this year, IMO.
