Meanwhile Steve had 19 points on his 40th birthday in a win against Philly. Tbh Philly didn't even try to win the game in the 4th. It was pretty sad. Lakers will have to make trades if they want that high pick.

Just remember this......NBA Average is 23 free throw attempts per game(per team)

Raptors-Clippers tonight combined for.....94 FREE THROW ATTEMPTS!

Someone seriously check on the refs at these Raptors games, way too many calls!

Portland got dealt some bad cards last night too. You can deal with PG taking over like he did last game, but how many times have we ever seen West and Hill combine for 50+? Let alone 67.

Still when Hill is playing aggressive like that we're a better team IMO.

PG 5-23 though. lol. He made some clutch shots/plays in the end to help us, but man... gotta know when to stop shooting. There are other ways to score/get involved in the game.

The Jazz scored 21 points in the first six minutes last night against the Mavs, then only 60 for the other 42.

His next step is finishing at the rim more.
I wish Granger could get his offense back. He played good Defense, got open, even had good position on a Lillard but he can't score at all.

Not saying Raptors deserved to win that game(their defense was horrible), just saying the amount of fouls was insane.

And that's not something unusual for Raptors either unfortunately.

Chris Paul might be back tomorrow the Clippers went 12-6 without him, pretty damn good. Props to Doc, Jordan, Griffin and Crawford

"I fully know that he wants to play, let's put it that way," Rivers said Saturday. "I just don't know if we're going to allow him to play yet. I just want to see how he feels, how his body feels. I want to see him on the floor. I just want to make sure Chris is not pushing to play. Players do that."

Paul has been shooting and participating in contact drills for the past week and went through practice with the team on Saturday, which was the Clippers' first practice in more than two weeks. Paul has missed the past 18 games and the Clippers are 12-6 during that stretch.

"I think it's going to take Chris some time to get his rhythm back," Rivers said. "That's why I am hoping he is healthy and we can play him Sunday, have a practice on Tuesday and play him Wednesday. I think that helps. I think it's going to take a couple weeks for him to get his rhythm back, no doubt."

Paul had previously said he also plans on playing in next week's NBA All-Star Game and Rivers said he was fine with that given the lack of defense and physical play in the exhibition game.

"I like him playing in the All-Star Game, personally," Rivers said. "I think this is a rare case where he's ready to play and the All-Star Game is probably the safest venue for him to play. I think it will just be a good thing for him to get up and down, whether he plays these next two games or just one of the games. It allows him to go up and down in NBA game with really good players that don't play defense in the game, so I think that would be very good."

The Clippers seem to be better than either of the last two years' teams but I still just can't see them in the Finals.

They dont have the roster for that. Half the bench and all back up bigs are old and or atrocious, and they have no real slashers and good man defenders.

They also need to trade Jared Dudley, guy has regressed big time. Reminds me of how Boozer looked when he couldn't make a shot.

The Clippers roster when healthy is about as good as you can hope for. No NBA team is going to be perfect, stacked with 9 or 10 players who can shoot, slash, pass, post up and play great defense.

Every team has age, depth or some issue. Barnes, Collison and Crawford is a nice bunch off the bench but their bigs are definitely their weakness. Jamison and Hollins and Hedo as your back up bigs are a problem.

If Jamison and Hedo have any trade value at all I think they should move them. No reason to keep them, grab a decent rebounder to come in and give Blake/Jordan a decent rest when needed..

Dudley hasn't been good for them, but he's like a what, 6th scoring option at best? I don't think they really need much from him.. If he's having a good day leave him in longer, if he's not stick Barnes in.. Either way neither is going to be bad enough to not give them a decent wing..

Hollins is horrible, they need to just give up on giving him minutes all together.. Give a couple more to Mullens, he's not quite as garbage and can hit midrange and 3pt jumpers.. Nice change of pace when Jordan or Griffin leave the game..

But really Paul, Blake, and Jordan all play 35+ minutes with JJ and Crawford splitting time and Dudley and Barnes basically splitting time..come playoffs those garbage guys will probably get even less minutes, we'll be looking at basically a 7 man rotation with Collison giving CP quick breathers. I think if they can find a solid bench rebounder to give Blake/Jordan quick breathers they'll be fine. As good of a roster as most of the good teams.
