You know you have no business being a NBA coach when even Loul Deng gives up on you. Dan Gilbert hand picked Brown with out interviewing anyone else and gave him a 5 year contract.

Is there some unwritten rule that once you become a head coach you get like 3 chances before they find out you suck at coaching? It seems like this happens all the time in the NBA/NFL. Some guy that sucks gets multiple head coaching job even though everyone knows he sucks.

If Beal develops they could have the best backcourt in the NBA. I think Wall is already a top 3-4 PG right now. He is 2-2 from three today as well. If he could hit a 3 pointer (or a jump shot for that matter) consistently he could easily be the best PG in the NBA.

I'm all for understanding that a coach sometimes has the odds stacked against him but he's had a history. As I've said about him before and guys like D'Antoni, they're great assistants, probably not the best option for a head coach. They're in the league for a reason, but they've proven they're not cut out to be head coaches.
