Blaming one guy? No, I specifically said the Clipper star players should be to blame if they don't make a run, which we both agree on, not really the support, which we disagree on. As I mentioned, Paul has a developed Jordan and Blake and a deadly shooter in Reddick.
The issue I have is you minimizing the rest of the Clippers' roster. Making them out to be such an incapable group, but when you compare them to the rest of the league they're rather exceptional outside of the Heat, Pacers, Spurs and Thunder. They're arguably a top 5 team when you talk about talent and roles. Their deficiencies are lack of a slasher and lack of backup bigs. Again, every team has weaknesses.
They arguably are the third best team in the west. Comparing them to the Blazers, they have more experience, depth and defense. They aren't a team that screams finals but they are as good as you can get outside of the Spurs and Thunder and have the best point guard in the league to make it all go.
