Riiiiiiiight. What are the Knicks really playing for here? They're certainly not going to win, and they KNOW it. But getting stomped all over the court, and passively letting the Nets do that while making a mockery of the team, that shouldn't be. Right now, the Knicks should be thinking they've got nothing to lose, suspension or no suspension, they should play hard and come out with an attitude. At least develop an identity here, and use that going into next season. Right now, the playoffs should be about GROWTH more than anything.

This is really why I just didn't see the point in having Houston on the playoff roster. While the Knicks did make a miraculous run in the playoffs during the shortened season that team was a hell of a lot better than this one. And they were a lot more cohesive than this team. They were tougher, but this Knicks team is still soft and rather inexperienced as a group.

Jason Kidd got into Frank Williams's head pretty easily, that shouldn't happen. At the very least, the Knicks should start retaliating and start bugging the Nets. Start making hustle plays. The only player that's doing the dirty work for the Knicks is Sweetney right now.

And Sweetney definitely should get more minutes than Kurt Thomas for this series.

^Word.. Kidd was in Williams` head and things just didn`t flow for the Knicks in the 2nd Half.. I agree that Sweetney should get more PT than Thomas .. Kurt just doesn`t cut it anymore.

Good Lord, one game fellas, one game. All you want to do is split the first two games if you are the road team. Lenny won't let this happen again and neither will Marbury, this team has too many veterans to get run off the court again.

Also, Houston would be available for a game 6 and anything after that. THAT is why you put him on the roster. Nothing against Moochie, but if I have even a 1% chance of getting Houston in there, he's going to be on my roster.
