Doc Rivers is a significantly better coach than VDN, that's not a question. But I don't expect even him to come in and suddenly take a team to the conference finals in the west in one year. Is he capable of doing it? I think he can, but if he doesn't that doesn't somehow mean that the team is significantly better off with him at the helm than VDN. Blake Griffin is already 10x the player he was under Vinny, just like Luol Deng became 10x the player he was under Vinny when a significantly better coach came along.

Your logic makes no sense. So if they lose in the second round this year, that proves that the team isn't significantly better off without Vinny? The majority of this core is here next year. What happens if they lose in the second round this year and then win a title next season? It's too late for Doc being hired to be a significantly better move because they won a year later?

Either the Heat or Indy are going to have quite the chore eliminating Chicago in the playoffs.

I hope Chicago just stays at the 4th seed.

In their remaining 20 games,I see them going 13-7(including an insanely favorable final 10 games to finish off season).

But Raptors though, I see going 14-8 to finish their season, either way, the 3-4 seeds in the East both look like they're getting over 45 wins which is great considering it was looking like 4th seed wouldn't even finish .500 a few months ago.

So they should get past the 2nd round then since they're significantly better.



They have a roster that is good enough to do it so and a coach that everyone seems to agree is one of the better ones in the league.

I'm willing to give Doc a pass this year. Chris Paul on the other hand...I ain't giving him no more passes, especially after how Mike Conley had his way with him in the playoffs.
