I agree with you there. Definitely was at his best with a PnR big like Boozer.

tbh there's a lot of nightmare matchups though at the point guard position and who are also consistent with it. Especially with youngsters like Lilliard and Wall emerging.. It's honestly somewhat sad to see Williams and remember how he used to look in Utah.

Really wasn't expecting these results to happen! Nets lose to Knicks. Raptors(WITHOUT Lowry and Amir) beat the Rockets! Bad news is that DeRozan got injured too now,so Raptors possibly missing 3/5 of their starters...gonna be BIG trouble to finish season and go through playoffs if these guys aren't ready for it.

Wizards are officially playoff bound for the first time since the Agent Zero days.

While quality of East isn't great, it's still nice to see fresh teams in the playoffs again. Wizards first time since Arenas. Raptors first time since Bosh. Likely Bobcats first time since Wallace(and 2nd time in franchise history). While 2-3 of those teams won't even make it out of first round, still nice to see change of things. Something I wish MLB had much more of as well.

Haven't watched him as close as you have since then, but I don't know man, elite? Elite by definition is the cream of the crop.

Well then that depends what you're using to measure him as far as his "elite-ness" goes. If you look at his numbers from last season and compare pre ASB(when he was hurt supposedly)and post ASB when he was finally "healthy", it was a significant difference.

Aside from injuries, that's been the knock on him these last 2 seasons including this one. Lack of consistency. He'll underachieve dramatically in the first half and then look/play like an all star caliber PG in the 2nd half. He's shown that he can play at an elite level so it's not like can't get back there. It's a matter of doing it for the majority of the season.

One more thing regarding Williams, look at who he played under in Utah and look at who he's played under since. Going from a HOF Coach to the likes of Averah/PJ and a rookie HC will that type of effect on probably any player outside of Lebron.

That system in Utah did wonders for Williams' and a LOT of players careers over the years.

I'm sure NBA and ABC are going crazy thinking about how 1st round playoff matchup might actually be Miami vs New York(for past few weeks,it was looking more like Miami-Charlotte). Not to mention Chicago vs Brooklyn possible too. Think of the ratings lol.

I'm actually hoping for those too for same reasons. Those 2 matchups...I wanna watch!

You don't know Pop, who knows, he may even win with the young players. He improves like everyone and in the Spurs, no one is selfish. Every passes the ball and everyone scores and everyone plays. Like you dont see Timmy or Parker averaging 20 ppg because everyone is scoring, too.
