Re: Pistons vs. Nets: Second Round Thread

Larry Brown made adjustments at halftime, got the Pistons back to being the Pistons, and the backcourt was dominant. It would appear that a healthy Chauncey makes up for an injured Rasheed.

Re: Pistons vs. Nets: Second Round Thread

Wow. A Pistons' team made adjustments at half time in the playoffs. I haven't seen that since Chuck left town with 2 rings. The Pistons clearly showed that New Jersey doesn't have a shot if it's a half court game. Detroit has guys that can score in the half court and New Jersey doesn't.

I would say the series is over but then I was reminded that New Jersey plays twice as good at home. New Jersey will have one more shot. If they can really beat the Pistons' a$$ in game 3, they'll get the momentum back. I don't believe anything major happens until one team wins on the road. New Jersey is a momentum and rythem team who just needs one big game to get on a roll.

This isn't an excuse for the Nets losing tho. The Pistons defense is totally dominating the Nets. The only points they are scoring are off second chance points and fast breaks. I think the Nets still have the potential to make this a series by winning at home, but right now the Pistons are just a much better team.

Hey, hey, no mentioning injuries remember? Now Nets fans can see what it feels like to watch their team get trampled even though they KNOW the team would play much better if they were 100%.

I wanted to know how people felt, because at the same time others are saying the Lakers are done because they dropped 2 games, and there was thread after thread here that they are finished. I wanted to ask about the situation since NJ is on the same skid now.
