For someone who doesn't like twitter, I was enjoying all the little tidbits...of course, some guys are completely off, and some end up being spot on...but I thought that was the fun of it all...

If OS had ties to ESPN, Chris Broussard, Marc Stein, Chad Ford, Bill Simmons, Jalen Rose, and Bruce Bowen would have all been sent to the gulags via orders from General Matrix a long, long, long time ago.

      At least.

Sounds like you do enjoy twitter but don't want to admit it

Agree. Living in this area thats all people worry about are Melo and James. They should concentrate on keeping Parsons and should have went after Lowery full steam. That point guard position has been an issue for years here and its not being addressed

Just my 2 crappy cents, but I don't see how Melo winds up staying in NY after all his talk about just wanting to win and willing to take whatever money.

I don't see why he would need to 'power play' the Knicks like that. That 5th year and extra $30 million is there no matter what. And Phil can't perform miracles with that roster.

If he stays, he'll prove it's ONLY about the money.

Even half-wits with little basketball knowledge know that the Knicks are NOWHERE near winning a championship.

Thabo Sefolosha to the Hawks for 12 million over 3 years.

I can't say I understand this move at all. Sefolosha was horrible last year.

I just hope that this melo thing is over with by tonight so teams can start shopping players asap. The lakers still have no squad.

Wow, him and Ben Gordon still getting decent money for being trash.

Thabo had a stinker last year but maybe he'll regain form...

Atlanta trades their young big man away for nothing and now signs Thabo... They were on the right track last year and they're starting to worry me this summer

Yeah, the Hawks are confusing me. I thought they were in a really good position this offseason but every move they've made has been something that made no sense to me.

I feel like that these GMs just emerged from a time machine, what's next, a Brandon Roy max offer?

Man maybe he just likes New York and is confident in whatever Phil and co. are telling him.

Did they really need him with Millsap, Horford, Payne, Scott, Antic, even Brand.

I mean I get what your saying, but they really didn't have a need for another big man, and Thabo will probably be a starter.

But these moves aren't really making them any better, sorta lateral transactions. But then again, if the East wouldn't have been so bad they might have had a lottery pick.

Thing with Atlanta is that they're in a position where they can afford to make lateral moves. In other words, they can't get any worse than they did last year.

Curious to see Thabo's contract numbers though.

It never hurts to have a young big man though, especially one that showed promise last summer. Uriji is Uriji for a reason man. Plus, it's not just that Atlanta traded the big man away, it's what they got back. They literally gave him away for free.
