Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Weren't you one of the "if Melo goes to Miami I'm done with the NBA" people. That would certainly be trying to win now.
And Melo has said a ton of things. You just choose to focus on anything that might mean he'll go to the Bulls and pretend the rest doesn't exist.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

ThreeKing always into it about something on here. If I didn't know better, I'd swear he was trolling everybody with some of this **** lol.

Too flip-floppy? Pot meet Kettle.
Maybe you need to stop being so damn gullible and take their comments for what they are...just words.
You do this all the time man. Make the biggest mountains out of the smallest mole hills.
If you say it, MEAN IT. Stand by it.
That's called being a stand-up guy. But I guess I'm "wrong" for that also.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Man, I really don't want to see Melo stay in NY because I think he retires ringless unless he decides to be a ring chaser for a year or two, but I can't fault a man for listening to what his wife wants. ****, I'm not even married and even I know that happy wife = happy life.
Still hoping for him to end up in Chicago, but not holding my breath on it.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

So if Melo were to re-sign with the Knicks, would that make him a "stand up-guy"? Since he basically stood by the same words that came out of HIS OWN mouth in that he didn't want to leave NY?
No, it would make him indecisive.Comment

This right here is what burns me up.
I've been married for over 10 years, and I'm telling you right now; if I made that kind of money, my wife would have ZERO say, in where I play. PERIOD.
This dude is letting this LaLa chick run his life.
Once he retires, he can devote ALL his time to her. This really shouldn't be complicated.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
The Mavs are gonna miss out on everyone, I can see it happening for real now.
Melo's gonna resign with New York, the Big 3 will be back in Miami, Houston will scramble to bring Parsons back and Deng will probably end up somewhere else like LA.
I would like to see us try to get Isaiah Thomas, but at this rate, someone else will probably snatch him up before we can. Probably gonna be another first round exit year for the Mavs before they try to go after more free agents next summer.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
NBA: Dallas Mavericks
MLB: Texas Rangers
NHL: Dallas Stars
NCAA: Alabama Crimson Tide
