Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
So it's being said the Knicks concluded their meeting with Melo by offering him the max. Trying to find someone other than Broussard reporting that. Other guys are running with what he said though.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
I don't either, but Phil basically said they would offer it to him last time he spoke. Hope is it shows Melo they want him, and Melo will choose to sign for a little bit less and look like the good guy.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Guy will say anything to keep his name in the media.
Honestly they could pay me half his salary without benefits to fabricate like he does.Comment

PHX is what a 30 min flight to LA? Just adding LeBron to what they had last year already makes them #1 in the west, easily, IMO.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
LeBron signing in the west would def have guys looking to go east in FA, most people want to face him as little as possible.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Spencer Hawes is in Phoenix. That would be a nice piece to have and hopefully he can mentor Len.

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
I've thought from day 1 that LeBron was staying and so was Carmelo. I'm more confident in Melo. If he stays I don't think it's just for the money tho. NY is a good city, his family wants to stay and I think Phil could bring in a good FA class next year when they get those garbage contracts out of there (Amare and Andrea) I do respect LeBron oddly for coming out and saying he wanted the max that he without a doubt deserves. I find it stupid tho how the other 2 of the big 3 are just sitting and deciding on one guys move. I think Bosh could do more, be more, and get paid more elsewhere. Wade....well he needs to wait on AARP with them knees LolComment
