    Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread

Like I've been saying for the last year and a half on here, Money ALWAYS talks loudest. Especially when you're talking about an extra $25-30+ Mil, his situation was nothing like Dwight, who was willing to forfeit the extra cash because he didn't want to be in LA anymore.

Don't be mad at Melo for staying true to his word LOL.

Personally, I have to say I'm a bit relieved that the circus isn't coming to town and that we can focus on building on the foundation that Ryan McDonough and Jeff Hornacek have created thus far.
I think we all get that. But LeBron was never going to go out west. Too much work for him. The East is wide open and only major market teams and Cleveland had a chance at him.

You guys should focus on other things anyway.
The Buzz is Back in the Queen City. Cho........I have no idea what you are going to do in this draft man.

Not like these players have set a real high standard for making logical decisions.

              Should be visible now.

Oh well, bring on Mirotic and somebody else. We'll probably miss out on Deng too.

Okay well just announce it now so everybody can move on Melo, thanks.

Apparently Lakers plan B is bosh.

Good choice bro!
I'm not sure what the difference between Bledsoe/Dragic and Kyrie/Wiggins is, but okay.

The rest...he's LeBron James. He can go where he wants and get hot chicks man. It's not like NE Ohio has a ton of beat up chicks.

I'd also imagine winning a title in Cleveland, to him, would far outweigh winning in Phoenix.

Also, how the hell could he trust Robert Sarver if he is looking for an owner who won't cheap out. Gilbert is a lot of things, but the damn guy isn't cheap. At all.

                        Pure comedy.

Yes clearly a team with Melo, Phil Jackson, loads of cap space coming up, and NYC stands no chance to compete in the big bad eastern conference for the next 5 years.

If things play out as it appears they may I'll be disappointed. I was hoping Melo would go to the Bulls. That would've been a perfect fit for both him and the team. I guess he really wanted that extra money. I hoped LeBron would avoid Cleveland. Not because it's a bad fit, but I really dislike that team and this makes it a lot easier to dislike them. Phoenix would've been a great destination for him.

Bosh to Houston is the one big move I am looking forward to seeing.

Please get your mind off Deng. Dude was gimp 4 years ago, and you still want him?? We're not trying to go backwards.

I say go after Lance Stephenson, and put Jimmy back at the 3 where he's more comfortable anyway.

Have Mirotic come off the bench.

Can I also say that the trade the Cavaliers made today was one of the worst trades ever made in NBA history, in a vacuum. Now if they get LeBron it makes it mostly worth it, but they gave up a ton of talent for a damn salary dump.
