If all this happens, all I can say is I will be extremely upset if Cleveland doesn't move Waiters for a big or they land one in FA.
Varejao is a perfect fit, but he just can't stay healthy. And they let Zeller and Hawes go.
Andy goes down and this team has the same problems Miami had and relies on 3 or 4 guys constantly playing out of position. Thus likely resulting in more small ball gimmicks, exhausting trapping defense, and relying on average role players to knock down all their outside shots.

I'm more mad at the overall idiocy if he was indeed "weighing situations." Phoenix is by far and away the best situation for him if he truly wants to satisfy all the things he claims to want to satisfy.
Personally, I have to say I'm a bit relieved that the circus isn't coming to town and that we can focus on building on the foundation that Ryan McDonough and Jeff Hornacek have created thus far.Comment

I agree, idk how much better he'll be than his teammates until I see them all play, but definitely agree with the rest of your post.
I really didn't like him much in college, as far as becoming an NBA player. Thought he was very overrated to be considered a first round pick.
But San Antonio is the perfect fit for him. I think he'll make a very solid player for them, and I wouldn't have said that had he landed anywhere else.
Kinda surprised the Lakers didn't make some type of move at him though. Just from the media attention alone and hype of the next "Magic" type player. Just seems like something they would do.
