Dallas can't do anything until Houston decides on Parsons, which of course, they're going to wait until the last second to do. If Houston matches on Parsons, I wouldn't be surprised to see Stephenson end up a Mav.

Marion's market has kind of been shot, I think if LeBron had have stayed in Miami he was a sure-fire pick up for them, but now he doesn't make much sense. Maybe the Pacers go after him if Lance leaves?

EDIT: I think Lance could handle starting at the 3. And he could play at the 2 with various lineups. I think having Tyson back there will help things out a lot. Dalembert is a decent rim protector, but he was inconsistent, but when he was on, the Mavs defense looked pretty good out there with him, and that was with Calderon and Ellis starting in the backcourt.

      Devin Harris should start anyway

      Harris-Ellis-Parsons(or Lance)-Dirk-Chandler

Please don't match Hou . I'm going to have a ball in 2k . I can hit random and end up with a fun team

Yeah. If we get Parsons I say you have to start Felton at Point with Ellis at 2. If we don't get Parsons and get Stephenson then I say our starting lineup should be Ellis, Stephenson, Crowder, Dirk, Chandler. Crowder coming off the bench last year for Vince, Marion and Dirk showed some promise. I like that lineup with Stephenson more than Parsons, but I would probably take Parson just because we need offense at the 3.

How anyone can be comfortable with Jae Crowder starting is beyond me. I like the guy, but he's really nothing special. His biggest claim to fame so far has been his seemingly abnormally high +/- stat last year, but that was because he was usually playing with the four other best Mavs. He routinely puts up 0's or 1's in stats you would expect a guy like him to do well in, and you would expect a small forward to put up stats in, like rebounds. He had one bizarre stretch of great three point shooting at the start of last season and then took a complete nose dive. If he's starting at the 3 for the Mavs for game 1, something went wrong.

this i agree with. he could start for several teams out there. if dallas strikes out on parsons id LOVE to see bledsoe with them.

he also fits in miami and indy, but not sure either team has the $

but maybe danny ainge can swap rondo for bledsoe and TJ, id be happy

Yeah you're right. I forgot about Harris, and he's actually the reason why we some of those games late in the season. I remember a game against Portland I believe where he came off the bench and hit a crazy leaning bank shot, drew the foul, hit the free throw and we ended up winning. We probably wouldn't have made the playoffs if it wasn't for him.

sign him after they go throw big money after free agents since they can go over the cap to sign him

i dont think they have this kind of money to throw at parsons/stephenson/etc if they sign marion now

Parsons/Marion would be a great duo to have at the 3.

Perhaps they could bring Monta off the bench in a JET 6th man role? He would be great in that role, but idk if he would accept it.
Yeah Harris will probably start. I also don't think Ellis will like that role, but I don't think he will have to worry about that. I didn't get to watch a lot of wizards games this year but I've read that Ariza is a really good defender not a lock-down defender but not a scrub either. So maybe Houston won't match the Mavs offer.

Cleveland will need a back up PG right? Why not throw an offer at Chalmers? Nobody else seems to want him, he has plenty of playoff and championship experience and would be looked at as one of the better back up guards opposed to one of the worst starters.

If not, Mo Williams. Both have playoff experience with LeBron.

I realize they have Dellavedova, it's kinda unfortunate to him that LeBron returned.. They need experience in that back up spot of they have big playoff expectations, IMO.

thats practically the perfect combo for a playoff team, not to mention both are capable of playing the 4 should they decide to go small or chandler/dirk get hurt

@zrevis, hes the backup pg from NOP lol.

@OJ, dele is staying the backup i think. bradley beal called him the hardest matchup he faced defensively.. and they could use a defensive PG who is also capable of making a shot and can also make a few plays. he gives them what chalmers does, but on a little lower scale and a lot less salary
