You don't remember the day the hair fairy visited Carlos and granted his wish? How can you forget that day. It was in Boston man! haha

Ennis never played point guard bro... his handles are below average even for a forward

I'm cheering for my fellow 49er but I wish LeBron could have been there.

Yep, gotta give credit to Reinsdorf and company for doing whatever it takes to get Boozer's corpse outta here.

Looks like Doc is going to bat with Dudley and Barnes

Rivers also said that he would have liked to bring in Paul Pierce, who helped him win a championship in 2008 and played under Rivers for nine seasons in Boston. Pierce wanted to come home to LA, but the financials did not line up, and he wound up going to the Wizards.

“We talked a lot,” Rivers said. “Quite honestly, a sign-and-trade just wasn’t possible. That would be great, but Paul ends up in Washington and that’s great for him. But clearly, we have a relationship — and he has a relationship with LA, that is where he is from. That would have been great. But it just couldn’t happen. They’re in a tough situation because they have so much money — 100 million (payroll). So they can’t take on any more salary and a sign-and-trade would mean they’re taking on more salary. They literally just cannot do it. We knew it would be hard. We tried every avenue and it just wouldn’t work.”

As for improvement, Rivers said he expects two players — Jared Dudley and Matt Barnes — to be fully healthy next season, after each struggled with injuries early last year and never got in a rhythm. And he hopes that the way the Clippers played in the postseason can carry over.

They're going nowhere with those two.

Doc can't be that blind. That was probably his sign and trade bait but yeah they're not doing more damage with these guys being a year older. Too redundant too

Barnes is bench material at best, always has been. So I don't see how he can be a starter as he's getting older. Jared Dudley, well, he just flatlined. I don't see how he recovers but I guess we've seen stranger things. I mean, they got away with it last season but going forward it's a huge problem.

I just don't see how they didn't address the position. That's literally the only thing they had to do, a back up big man should have been second priority. I guess there really wasn't any free agent out there but a trade needed to happen.

I think they needed a back up big even worse than a SF, especially since I believe Ed Davis is off the roster now. I don't think they even have a PF or C on the bench.

With that being said, they didn't have to go all out and sign Hawes. They could have filled the back up spot with a min guy, Someone like O'Neal or Okafor, or something.

I like Hawes fit, but they're in a tough position now. I would probably try and trade Jamal, for a back up guard and a small forward if possible.

OJ, they aint need another guard man. They signed Farmar.

At the very worst, the Clippers could have drafted a 3. Instead they draft a clone of their draft pick from the previous season in Reggie Bullock and select CJ Wilcox. It was a massive wtf moment. They are literally the same player, same size and all. Why do they need 3 bench shooting guards in Crawford, Bullock and Wilcox? Lol
