The microscope would have been on LeBron and Irving in Cleveland, now in Minnesota it'll be centered on Wiggins.
The more I think about it, the more I think he will be fine in Minnesota. They are going to be a bad team next year. He can come in and not be expected to deliver immediately like he would have in Cleveland, while having all of the chances to prove he is capable of being a star. There isn't a spotlight in Minnesota and for a low key guy like Wiggins that should help him. In Cleveland he would have been scrutinized for every little thing (now that LeBron was back). I wish they could have done a deal to get Love without giving up Wiggins, but he'll be fine there, for at least 5 years until he gets traded to a contender.

The question that needs to be asked but hasn't yet: Does anyone actually trust Flip Saunders to develop young talent? I sure as hell don't.

I completely forgot about him. Sorry Andrew, it was nice knowing you. At least we have the mixtapes of him still.

I just don't like it, I don't think Cleveland needed Love this year. Can't get behind it. Now Wiggins can rot in Minnesota like KG did.

And the Wiggins hypers now have a ready-made excuse if he doesn't develop quickly (or at all).

I've thought Wiggins was overhyped since day one, but I still am not a huge fan of this trade. Waiters could make all the difference, ready to see how he looks next season.

What would have the trade looked like had Love still had 3 years remaining on his contract ?

Would be typical minnesota business as usual if waiters actually turns out better than wiggins

For Fantasy Basketball purposes, I hope this trade gives Wiggins a demeanor to prove his worth.

I really hope with all the scoring power and transition players that they play really uptempo.. LeBron is so good in the open court and unless they forced a turnover Miami played so damn slow.. With how efficient LeBron has become everywhere else on the court, if they got him more easy transition looks I could see him scoring near 30 per game, even with Love and Kyrie.
