Right now Detroit or NJ, and Indiana (pending a major collapse) seem to be the teams coming out of the east...with either the Kings or T-Wolves, and the Lakers out west, which team would give the East champs a shot at winning it all?

I agree. No way any team out east can handle Shaq and Malone down in the paint. And Kobe and Payton can hold their own against any backcourt pair in the east also.
A dominate KG is extremely hard to contain. Plus, they have Cassell and Spree to back him up.
The Kings have a lot of talent also, but I don't think they have it all together yet. They look to be the most vulnerable out of those 3 from the west.
As for who has the best shot from the east. So far, it looks like Indiana. The Nets and Pistons are taking it hard at each other. So they might be tired and worn out from their series.
In any case, the rest of playoffs should be entertaining to watch.Comment
