Re: don\'t blame webber for this series loss, blame

For the Kings I would rather have Peja, but if I were the Celtics, I would probably rather have Pierce. Peja doesn't seem like the type to carry a team.

But I still say Peja over Artest, Marion and Jamison in a heartbeat.

Replace Peja with anyone of those three on the Kings and tell me if the Kings would be better. Who would be the go to guy every night....Bibby?

Now put Peja on the Mavs bench, the Pacers and the Suns and tell me if those teams are any better or worse.

I dunno, I just don't see Artest as this mighty robotic defensive machine that everyone makes him out to be.

                  Poor Peja...

                  Welcome to the "what-have-you-done-for-me-lately" generation.

Webber slowed the offense, defenses stopped having to rotate as much, Peja stopped getting the same looks. Knowing you are the "man" in an offense and knowing you are just a "part" of an offense is also key. When Webber was out, Peja assumed the scoring mantle and the team fed him as such. Lot easier for a shooter to get hot when he's continually fed and looked to, and he responded with an MVP-calibur season. Absolutely no shame in that. None of those other guys mentioned were even getting a sniff of MVP consideration. Webber came in and reduced Stoyo's role. As a Cavs fan I would take only PP and Artest over Peja.

                  And T-Mac is a 2.

Artest is a great player but he is overhyped too. Peja won't give you any trouble either bu I'd take Pierce also.

The Kings will have to wait till next year again but with a healthy lineup they will be tough. The last two years they were without Webber. Does anyone think the T'Wolves could have won without Garnett or Sprewell? I don't think many teams could win with one of there top players hurt. The Lakers wouldn't win without Shaq or Kobe. So I didn't expect the Kings to win it all with Webber a about 60%.

Whenever you shoot 29% in a half as a team, you will lose the game.
