Re: Would You Rather?
Regular Season MVP. Making the finals and losing like the Spurs did would be too much for me. I'd honestly rather not make it than lose on a buzzer beater in game 7 or something.
If you are Carmelo Anthony, would you rather play for Houston or Chicago next year?Comment

Re: Would You Rather?
When was last time anyone ever even lost the finals but won finals MVP?
I'd say regular season MVP though, cause that proves you're the best player in the league.
To answer other persons one...I'd rather play for Houston. Harden and Dwight also on the team to help you out/take away spotlight from just being on you, I'd do that. Compared to Chicago where all attention will shift towards Carmelo.
Would you rather play for a team like Milwaukee for your entire career where you'll get very little national media attention, but be a dominant player, or play for a team like the Lakers where you're an ok starter, but not that great, and get a crazy amount of media attention.Last edited by Majingir; 05-24-2014, 11:04 PM.Comment

Re: Would You Rather?
I don't think they'll ever give the finals MVP to the losing team again. But I'll choose the first option, a loss in the first round and a loss in the finals is still not a championship.
If injuries weren't a factor at all, going back would you rather draft Oden or Durant?

lol
To answer your question..if you have to stay in your respective teams..probably a lower small team that you can dominate in.
If you can leave I'd go to LA where you'll get seen more and possibly picked up by a contender.
Would you rather be non-athletic but fundamentally great or a freak athlete but not very textbook?"To the last minute, to the last second, to the last man, we fight"Comment

Re: Would You Rather?
I'd still take Oden as at the time Portland didn't really need KD with Roy already in the mix. And although this was a small sample size (21 games), during his sophomore season, Oden averaged 11 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in 23.9 minutes. Who knows what he could've done had he been injury-free and with a few more years of playing experience.
This one's a similar situation to the 2003 Pistons.
If you are the GM of a championship aspiring team with minor holes and aging stars, say in their early 30s, and somehow you landed the #1 draft pick in 2014 (from a trade made several years ago). Would you trade that pick to upgrade your team to compete for multiple titles (say a 3 year window?) or keep that potential superstar as your future project and possibly hope he blossoms immediately?Last edited by vtcha; 05-24-2014, 11:30 PM.Comment

Freak athlete. I'd hope that I could develop some fundamentals. It would also be more fun.lol

I'd keep it. If you're talking 2014 draft, either Wiggins or Embiid could contribute to an aging championship-aspiring team. Either would boss on the current Heat, using my team as an example.I'd still take Oden as at the time Portland didn't really need KD with Roy already in the mix. Starting a team from scratch. You get 10 years of Pop or 10 years of Lebron. Which do you choose?Fan of:

10 years of Lebron. You can have a good team with good players but a bad coach, but you can't have a good team with a good coach and bad players.I'd keep it. Expand league by 2 teams(to make it 32) or reduce it(to make it 28)?Last edited by Majingir; 05-25-2014, 12:06 AM.Comment
