Didn't say that bro, but where was this thread when the last game was played?
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post"> not talking about just this game. did you bother to watch the lakers/spurs series, or were you blinded so much by your dislike for Kobe and love for TMAC that you didn't pay attention. The guy was carving up a good defensive Spurs team. It's just sometimes, he seems to be able to get what he wants, much like another great SG in NBA history. That's what I think makes Kobe on the road to Greatness. Now bringing MJ into the argument for comparison, that's how he used to be.
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
Now you're comparing him to MJ. I remember Bernard King getting to the whole whenever he wanted to. What's the deal with the comparison to MJ? Because he was a shooting guard? I saw what happened in the SA series. I didn't say he was a bad player. Again I say I give Kobe props, but you are so wanting to call me a ***** because I don't agree with you.
MJ did things Kobe will never do.
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">Like what?
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
Go find out. If you don't know what MJ accomplished, you shouldn't have started this thread. In your defence, though... Kobe has a lot of legs left.
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">we spell defense with an "S" in the United States. Shut up youngsta. You haven't a clue. I don't need anyone to defend me. He said MJ did things that Kobe will never be able to do. Hell, i'm sure that he'll always be able to put the ball in the basket at will. He's showing signs of being able to have his way now.
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
MJ did things Dr J didn't do. If He was playing the 86 Celtics, or the 89 Pistons, you know you;d see him get whooped on and not scoring 30 or 40.
