You can't just stand there and allow a player to score, you HAVE to put your hands up. It's the NBA FINALS.

      Detroit Fans =

(except the sensible one that realizes Shaq was breaking his foul)

Anyone who thinks Shaq should have been called for 6 fouls in the 4th period should just stop watching. Just write down your excuses for each Detroit loss and get it out of your system. Amazing how many people cry about refs when they lose.

Anyone with good vision can see that shaq should've been fouled out. This happens all the time and if something like this happens in detroit then you better believe that the lakers'"fans" will be complaining like they always do.

Actually, there is noone crying in this thread. Detroit has been dissed and disrespected by the media and everyone else and noone is complaining at all. Detroit is in control of the series. And that's with Sheed barely seeing the court in the first half and Rip not showing up yet.

Shaq could be called for a foul, 3 seconds, or a travel on almost every possesion. Get your homer goggles off!!

I dont buy this. Just like after the game they were dogging Rip Hamilton for not being in Kobe face on that shot. WE HAVE ALL SEEN how many cheap fouls the Lakers have gotten their way from other teams in the past. I almost guarantee you if Rip had even jumped to block it they would've called a whistle. And if the ref on the baseline made that call on Wallace, he should be slapped. Because from a baseline view it would be obvious that it was not a foul he had arms up. Again b/c in that situation, at that stage in the game if you even look like your gonna touch an LA player it will be FT's for them.

Detroit fans have actually been pretty cool throughout the series. I don't know where you are getting the crying statement from.

Ben Wallace's foul on Shaq may have been whistled because his arms were leaning forward, they may not have been straight up. That's by only guess because Shaq gets called for those all the time, but then again, I don't have Tivo or anything so I'm not really sure.
