I was sort of thinking the same thing, unfortunately. Maybe not the end of his career, but I don't know how you can come back to a high level after something like that.

thats getting a bit carried away. ever again? i mean, i would not be shocked if it took multiple years but im not going to just say a career is over from a snap

it looked like just a leg fracture, nothing knee/ankle related but im not gonna go hit pause to figure it out.

Yeah the way it twisted its gotta be a break/ACL combination.

No players are addressing the media. Only Colangelo and Coach K. They're probably all too emotional right now.

He can absolutely recover from this to play great basketball. It was a complete accident, not a freak injury like Rose with his knee injuries. His leg landed at an awkward angle on the basket stand. it's definitely going to be a huge hurdle but with time he'll get back to form. at least hopefully.

Hard to say, looked like a clean break of both lower leg bones, I'd imagine surgery is in his future soon to get that set and likely with some rods/plates/screws to stabilize it.

Timeline wise thought hard to say, not any time soon though, 3-4 months before hes weight bearing then has to rehab, that would be without setbacks and no idea if there was any other structural damage.

If it's just the leg bones broken he'll be ok hopefully. Brian Hartline had a bad compound fracture breaking both bones in his lower leg 1st game of his senior year of high school and came back and won the 110m and 300m hurdles at the Division 1 State Track meet that spring.

Man I promise I was talking about them moving the freaking goal posts back more last season for awhile. Its just too many guys too close and that goal post is way too close to the basket as well.

There is no reason they can't make them base further away from the out of bounds line.

those are the same thing no? i would classify this as a freak injury, because how often do guys snap their legs on stantions?

Just looks like a tougher recovery when your leg snaps in half though

It would be foolish to assume that it's just bones.

The way with how it happened...it'd be a miracle if he didn't tear tendons.

Move the base back, and move the ****ing reporters back too. I swear someones gonna trip over one of them fools and crack their head open. If it means taking out a row or two of seats, so be it.

its not foolish to think its just bones, it looked like a straight up snap like kevin wares. i saw nothing in real time/replay that showed knee/ankle ligament/tendon damage.. and im going to hope thats exactly how it went down.

PG one tough sob though. he was calm as ive ever seen a person after a bad injury
