Collateral damage of the NBA, not much can be done. You listed 5 guys of the hundreds and hundreds of guys who don't get hurt. I think you are overdoing it a little.

I remember an Alabama receiver that suffered the exact same injury years ago. Don't think he was ever able to play again at full speed.

I couldn't imagine what an injury like that would do to me psychologically, hell even if I was a teammate.

The best part about bones are how they grow back stronger than before.

He'll have to beef his legs back up in rehab because of atrophy, and lets hope thats the extent of what he'll have to worry about.

But this was SO AVOIDABLE. Thats what makes it so frustrating. If the NBA would stop being cheap bastards, get basket bases that went farther back, remove seats and push reporters back, this wouldnt have happened.

I dont give a **** if Johnny No Name cant get the perfect shot for the local newspaper.

Injury for @Paul_George24 is horrific but should not be career threatening like if he dislocated knee. Likely no nerve or artery damage.

Can't be sure but it looks like a clean break below the knee and above the ankle, looks like he snapped his tib/fib about midway, obviously could be issues relating to any of those but going purely off looking at where it broke he could've avoided knee/ankle issues (not to say he did for sure of course).

This just reminds me man, i hope this upcoming season isnt full of freak injuries again like this past season. It was too much to gut through.

Rose in the first few minutes was really the only guy that stood out. The scoring was pretty well spread out

I agree with you, however, those court side seats will remain, and the media will be hugging the baseline regardless of if you or I agree with it. Simply makes too much money, if anything the NBA is being greedy, not cheap, as you indicated.

Im not a Pacers fan and I'm not particularly a Paul George fan, but the human in me sits here sad and dumbfounded given tonights events. Its truly unfortunate.
