I know people are worried about Spain but looking at the rosters there is no reason USA shouldn't take this.

My girlfriend asked me a question as we watched a few games from the 2010 championship. But I wanted to ask you guys.

My girlfriend basically ask... If Americans invited basketball. Why do we play with these international rules?

I saw this great interview of coach K the other where he talked about learning how to play the international style.

We play international rules because that is the ruleset that all nations in FIBA agreed upon. It doesn't matter what nation started the sport.

Just like in Rugby, there is league and union, during the Olympics & rugby world cup they play union rules.

Why does FIBA specifically use the rules they do? I've no idea, I'm sure some hoop head, rules nerd might know that answer without googling it.

I really don't like FIBA rules. It makes for an even softer game with all the fouls called.

Im gonna go with the white team, but they did a really good job making these rosters as even as possible.

White team, far too many multi-dimension shooters. Guys who can shoot it lights out when left open but at the same time if you get close enough to contest they can get past you to score.

                  Durant, Harden, Kyrie, Beal, Parsons.

Plus Lillard is a monster in the P-n-R and I think Cousins is currently the best offensive big on the roster. Davis is more versatile, but Cousins is bigger, stronger, better on the block as of right now IMO.

The Blue team has the attack guys Rose, Wall, DeRozan but you can live with them shooting. And Korver you can live with making him drive.

Curry, Hayward, George can all do it in multiple ways, but not enough to trump Irving, Harden, Durant.. IMO. Millsap is kinda the darkhorse. He would destroy Faried or pull Davis out of the lane, making his defense and length a non factor.

I actually think it's closer than some think. Remember, we're thinking of what these guys show on their own teams but when it comes to translating that to the Coach K Team Ball concept, there's going to be an adjustment of some sorts.

I thought the original one was much closer, the one that didn't have Harden and Durant on the same team.

                              Where's his torso lol?

On my phone he looks ridiculous AF.

It looks like he pulled his shorts way up past his waistline, straight Urkel status.

I think his legs are just that long. I saw a picture of him with one of the guys from the World Cup and sitting down there wasn't much difference in height. Standing up KD looked about a foot taller.
