Sad? Some of you guys crack me up. Why be sad for Malone. He had a nice career. He went to the finals twicew with Utah.

He injured people on purpose, and played dirty his whole career. He spoke out against Magic which eventually trickled down, and forced him to retire the second time. He cheated the Lakers in plenty of games, including playoff games. He called B. Scott a coattail rider, and after being a Laker enemy for so many years he wants to come to LA to coattail ride to win. Malone had oportunities. You didn't see R. Miller or Barkley doing that stuff to other people or teams, then trying to join a championship caliber team just for a ring because they couldn't do it when they had the chance.

I don't care if Malone ever gets a ring. He's cheated and intentionally injured enough people all of these years.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

If I could remember correctly Barkley joined Houston in hopes of capturing the ring. But he joined the wrong club though as he should have went to the Bulls. Houston was the defending champion when Chucj joined Houston. If he did not have a career ending injury who knows, he probably went after either SA or LA.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Yea but he was a main player, not taking a paycut on his last legs to coattail ride The Dream after he dissed the Rockets (which he didn't).

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

I thought Malone was gonna join the best team that DIDN'T win the NBA championship. If Horry's shot last year went down, then Malone most likely would have been a Spur right now.

I've said ths before and i'll say it again the only professional basketball championship ring i want Karl Malone to wear is the one his daughter owns when she comes over for a barbeque on weekends.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

That Barkley trade was major though as Houston needs to give up there great role players like Horry, Cassel and Thorpe or something. Barkley has to fill out those spot that got vacated because of his presence. On Malone and Payton, it doesn't seem like Phil is using them. All the time it is Kobe and Shaq. Man, if I was Malone I should have joined either SA or Detroit. At least Larry Brown and the rest of the Pistons would appreciate him more than Phil. And Duncan would be very happy to recieve him and Popovich will be happy to create plays for his skills. Just like the role he play in Utah and Duncan can have David Robinsons job. But I am not Malone. Which is good because I can't even dribble the ball past his daughter.

I don't like him as a person, and as a basketball player..
for me he's not a winner.. i think i just do not appreciate ballers who cannot create their own shots.. but i know he is frustrated not getting a ring through all these years..

I don't like him as a person, and as a basketball player..
for me he's not a winner.. i think i just do not appreciate ballers who cannot create their own shots.. but i know he is frustrated not getting a ring through all these years..
