    If he didn't, the LA Times writers should all be smacked upside their heads. They have tendencies to lie on players, mostly not Lakers, but reporters do it alot. If he did say it, then why not just play instead of keep talking.

    I am still bothered by his interview after game 4. It was very strange to me. Then this prediction thing. Something is fishy

      This is what I think happened: The LA Times led him on to saying something like this. They probably kept on asking if they were going to win or how he thinks the Lakers will play, stuff like that. It probably left him no choice, but to say they'll win. It's not like he can say that they'll lose or something like that. I doubt it was a guarentee like Rasheed's though.

      And if he wasn't forced to make the prediction, well then . . . he'll be facing hell if they lose today.
