Fisher opted out because he wanted to be paid more. He will ask for a bigger paycheck, and he wants to stay. If GP stays, I'm sure Fish will explore his options.

do they even want to keep GP, he is clearly past his prime, but with the team changing so much, they might be at least willing to salvage something after Kobe, Malone and possibly Shaq are gone.
