If Orlando was planning on keeping Mcgrady they would have drafted Okafor who can help now and is a fierce defensive presense. Besides how sweet would it be if Nelson and Okafor were on the same team? I liked the Bulls taking Gorden, although I don't think much of Deng he could be solid role player but other than that I don't see much.

if i was mcgrady i would give howard a chance. i would tell them i would play maybe until december. if they cant get it going by then trade me or i will go for nothing. but i would see what the team looks like with the possibility of getting darrell armstrong back. Jameer maybe very good in pros and i am tired of hearing about high school players not being able to contribute. you have lebron last year and wow a year in college makes a big difference i think melo would be melo if he came straight form high school.

He went to college they couldnt do anything with him. Howard would be the same one year of playing like a man playing against kids then the pros. stoudimre did great straight from high school. he would of went college and played a year kicked some but and left also. what the big deal. maybe howard steps in and does the same as stoudemire. he is tall he can use his speed and range to his advantage. he maybe 7ft tall before the season starts or sometime with in the year and he would have even greater advantage over players at pf position.

You do realize he said he wanted to wait until at least the trade deadline and they said no. Sign by July 1st or else.

He didn't say that at first. he said he wasnted to stay, trade the pick for a veteran. They told him they don't care what he wants(Hockeyman actually said it).

He said he wasnt't going to resign after the ultimatum and no they can't just shop him, he gave them a list of where he wanted to play. He has control over where he goes, not them.

they should wait and there is a slim chance hill could be back. nelson, mcgrady, hill, howard and gooden could be respectable if hill can play. when he came back before he still played good not explosive as before but very effective

i doubt you see him grow any more at all , and 2 inches would be a small miracle for the magic

thats what kills me about the Garnett comparisons , -Howard looks like he might be closer to 6'9" then 6'10" . Garnett is a legit 6'11.5+. Garnett is a skinny skyscrapper with a center's height who can play the perimeter / Howard is more of a true powerforward size who is a good athlete and has shown the ability to run the floor in highschool.
Howard might be more similar to Amare Staudamire then he is to Garnett. The only Garnett type thing about him is he came straight from highschool and he is a powerforward.
