Re: Shaq says he wont be coming back

even if it means getting the most dominant player in league history, there are a few reasons holding it up. 1) teams will have to gut their team. 2) lal would have to take in any bad contracts and that is not going to happen. 3)shaqs demands have narrowed down the teams to trade with and the players they can take back. This is why it will HAVE to be a 3 team deal.

This is just a made up deal but one that will happen would have to look something like this.
Lakers get Nash, Howard, Podkolzine and Kenyon Martin. Mavs get Shaq and Kittles. Nets get Payton, Stack and Walker

Somehwat like Tmac. See, if any team gives up an entire roster of players and Shaq doesn't care for them, he can opt out after next year, and that team will be out of everything. So yes he does. I'm sure whatever team it is will want him to resign the next year.

then we are going to see shaq and Kobe back together and it could get very ugly with the way Kobe has been courted , the way kobe wasn't tradable while Shaq was on the blocks for any willing bidder ...

      <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

This isn't true. Kobe wont come back if Shaq is still there. If LA doesn't get a decent enough team, he wont return either. He saw what happened to Tmac, and KG. He knows better.

Where are you hearing these rumors from or are you making them up yourself?

Shaq will cost alot, but some of those deals would just gut a roster. I don't know why Sacramento would give up so much. I don't know why Indy would sacrifice their future in that deal.

The only one that sounded somewhat realistic would be the Phoenix deal IMO. And I doubt that happens because it seems like PHX wants to keep Amare or Marion, not give up both.

Shaq's movement is gonna tilt the league and possibly screw one organization out of it's future.

I'll trade Shaq for Martin and Jefferson, Nowitski and Howard, Stoudemire and Marion. Straight up and don't want the late 1st round picks.

This is my made up scenario:
Shaq will not get traded because Kobe will make his move first. Kobe is going to San Antonio and that will leave the lakers stuck out. The Lakers will hire Tomjonavich who will convince Shaq to give it a one year try, if he doesn't like it, he can opt out. The Spurs will sign Kobe before the trial begins to a multiyear deal. He will change his number to 33. New start, new beginning. Kobe, Parker, and Duncan.
