I think the Raptors will make a push for Nash (or at least I hope they do) so things could get interesting there. I think Derek Fisher will be another Tyrone Lue in that he was great in LA but he'll be a very marginal player with another team.

I wouldnt really compare T-Lue with Derek Fisher. Lue played alright in LA mainly just played good D against Iverson in the fianls a few years back. I think fisher is more of a 6 man now or 15 minutes a game backup pg. Im not sure I would go after Nash either if he wants alot of money that is if I were the Rockets but the Raptors should definatley purse Nash.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

I think Derek Fisher would be a good fit in Houston. It is almost the identical situation he has played in for his career. Kobe = T-Mac, Shaq = Yao. T-Mac will have the ball a lot, as did Kobe. And Fisher's job will be to play tough defense, set up the offense, and give it to the big guy. Plus, he has proved he can knock down wide open threes, which he will get with T-Mac and Yao getting all the attention.

The guy will turn 30 in August, and he has loads of playoff and finals experience. Plus, he will be quite fresh for next season after only playing 20 minutes a game last year. I think Fisher would be a great fit.

With that said, Nash is a much better player, but if the Rockets don't land him, I wouldn't sweat it if I was Houston.

I think Tmac will appreciate having a real point guard again, and a big man he never had the pleasure of playing with.

DO people really rate Lue? Especially on that Lakers VS 76ers series? Considering Iverson scored 48, 23, 35, 35, 37 (whether it was at 40% or not) Lue did nothing other than hold, grab and scratch like a girl.

Then Jordan the fool goes out and signs him, assuming he will be the Iverson stopper should they meet.

He's not totally hopeless, (ala Eric Snow) but he's really not much. A decent backup at best.

If the Rockets get Nash then it looks great on paper, but a lot of their season comes down to how well McGrady can play with these guys and how well he can actually play when he doesn't get and shoot the ball every play.

Rockets dont have the cap space to get nash. That guy wants big time money.

<font color="red">Speaking of Snow. I think he could also be a good fit for that team. Snow is a good solid role player, and is a good manager of the clock. It's just that Snow isn't good for the Sixers anymore, as they want to try to get more atheletic in the backcourt. BUt Nash being there may not be the answer, you see what happened to the teams with too many stars. Not one of them one....suprisingly it was the team with no superstars, that one the championship.

                              Nash is stayin in Dallas

Cuban is actin like he is gonna do whatever it takes to keep Nash and Steve is actin like he will remain in Dallas. The team has the cap room

Also, Steve's agent was talkin contract to Donnie Nelson at 11:01 yesterday evening. Nash might visit other teams, but all indications are that he is signin with the Mavs.
