Re: 10/28-11/2 NBA Game Discussion Thread
Detroit is a joke. They need to trade Monroe and get some pieces. Joe Johnson is the man, and I hope we get Lopez back before our little west coast trip next weekAm I trolling? Am I serious? Did Dennis Green and the Cardinals really "let them off the hook"? What about the children? Find out next weekComment

Even though it was a loss to Dallas it was an encouraging game for the Pelicans against a really good team. Good games from AD, Jrue, and Tyreke.
Not even going to discuss how hilariously bad Eric Gordon is.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

It's funny hearing the commentator last night say that Kobe won't get past Malone or Kareem in points cause he's playing like the hell with that I can get there.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

If his career isn't derailed by further injuries, I feel like he can get past the Mailman. Kareem, probably not.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: 10/28-11/2 NBA Game Discussion Thread
He started talking to me like I was crazy, mentioning how John Hammond was an idiot for picking him, and that Kidd will play the vets over him because he respects them more. For what it's worth, I think we are in a situation to say "screw the vets, we need to to put the best lineup out there", and I have a lot of excitement for what Giannis might become...however...
The Greek Freak project still needs a lot of time to develop. Most of the people who are really high on him have only seen highlights of the special things he can do, but those things aren't happening at a very high rate yet.
He certainly can do things that not many other NBA players can do, but he's still so raw. He can get to the rim consistently, but can't finish consistently. He is too out of control sometimes. His jumper is still pretty awful. I am all on board for playing him more, because I think that's what he needs to develop faster, but I can understand at the same time why Kidd isn't playing him as much as we thought he would.Last edited by Exogenesis33; 11-02-2014, 11:46 AM.Comment

Just people love a show and excuse the selfishness not realizing shortly afterwards they ended up getting blown out the water and don't realize both Steph was going off and he was getting his lunch fed to him by Klay freaking Thompson at the same time.
Reminds me of the ownage the Suns used to put on them all the time.
Its nothing cool about that honestly except people watching a selfish player like a train wreck and his teammates standing there knowing he'd rather launch a 37 footer with 2 people in his face than pass the ball to keep the team in a flow.
They're giving up almost 120 points a night so far. Bruh....Comment

Re: 10/28-11/2 NBA Game Discussion Thread
He needs 5129pts to catch Malone for 2nd. Meaning even if he plays every single game for the remainder of his 2 year career, he'd need to average 32ppg in these next 2 seasons to do so. If he plays 1 extra season after this contract with Lakers is up, he'd still need to average 21ppg without missing a game from now till the end of that 3rd year. So it seems highly unlikely he'll reach 2nd.
To catch Jordan though, assuming no injury, he'll obviously get it this season. Maybe even around Christmas time it looks like.
And I think it's obvious MJ would be at the top if he actually did play in 93/94,all of 94/95, and retired in 2000 or something(and never came back to play on Wizards)
The games he missed in 93-95, it'd probably be about 4500 points extra on his career total. Add in 98-00 and remove 01-03,and his career total would be around 39,000.Last edited by Majingir; 11-02-2014, 12:08 PM.Comment

So if he don't care(don't mean this literally)then I don't care and I'll take enjoyment in watching him jack up contested shot after contested shot on a crappy team in the process, lol.#RespectTheCultureComment

Honestly he was terrible last night. He was a scrub in the first half and got hot in the third but he doesn't have to take every shots when he's hot, he can still be smart about it and give up the ball when the double/tripple team come. In the fourth he was playing like a scrub again.
Lakers schedule was brutal though. 4 games in 5 night, second back to back. I don't get why Byron Scott played him so much when he obviously wasn't himself.Comment
