Blount is signed back with the C's long term.

Karl is 41, going on 42. Coming off his worst ever season for injuries.

Yeah, good point. The NBA may well raise the cp by 20 million and Shaq may halve his wage also.

Shaq's recruitment line goes something like this:

"Come play with The Daddy. All you need to be able to do is: 1. Hit clucth shots, because The Daddy can't get the ball down the stretch. 2. Take half the MLE, because The Daddy needs to get paid. 3 Pass the ball into The Daddy and then run the hell back on D, because the Daddy sure aint getting back. If you can do all that, call me."

Jokes aside, Shaq's a walking, talking ego. A guy whose never been exposed because he's never had to make the plays in crunch time.

Yes, he's an incredibly dominant player. He's not taking a team all the way without a great guard though. By the time / if Wade is ready, Shaq won't be.

Detroit and the Pacers will dominate the East next year. Miami not even close.

Isn't this the same Robert Horry who said he doesn't have to worry about hearing "some big guy" whining about getting the ball after he left L.A.

I could have sworn that during the season that quote came up everytime Shaq was talked about in a topic.

My, oh my, how things have changed. One day people bash Shaq for only using his "fat" to score, how he has no talent, how the Lakers got lucky in the signing of Gary/Karl, and how he doesn't care about the team, and the next day the same people praise Shaq's dominance, ignore how his contract single handedly destroys any team's chance at signing quality players, and marvel at his recruiting abilities (vice versa when it comes to Laker fans).
