Yeah, as pathetic as trading Kenyon Martin for 3 draft picks.

That's why 3rd teams get involved.

Don't be mad because some of your GMs get suckered into bad deals or clutch their wallets and don't want to make things happen. Don't blame the fans, blame the team management.

Outside of a healthy Vince Carter, that's nothing but a CBA team with a budget.

/////////

LOL

Should I pull out the Knicks roster and there plethora of overpaud bums and scrubs?

Deke
Othella
Shandon Anderson
Moochie Norris
Demarr Johnson
Penny(isn't he still on that Max deal?)
Frank Williams

If you compare the Starters

Alston/Alvin Williams<Steph
VC>Houston
Rose>TT(Rose,Point forward great passer ball handler, better defender)
Bosh>Nazr(Bosh better on O,solid on d)
Marshall=KT

Had Rose not missed 13 or so games last year for the raptors,we would've made the playoffs..We we're like 6th in the east at one point near the break...The Knicks got in as an 8th seed so there really isn't anything to be bragging about...

But anyway that's not the point of this thread...The Knicks just don't have enough players to trade if they want VC or Toine...This isn't ESPN 2k4...Zeke isn't gonna get Moochie Norris for VC/Rose...And we all know he won't give up Steph(rightfull so!)

Give me

7th man - Hardaway

That's a 48-50 win team in the East. Yea, I said 50!

I agree with you that Crawford is being overhyped and isn't an upgrade over Houston. But...I desperately want the Knicks to pull off that trade because I'm scared to death that Isiah will try to trade Kurt in a three-team deal that lands the Knicks Antoine Walker. And I do not want that. I will cry if that happens. I also like the Crawford deal because if the Knicks get Williams back, they won't have to rely on Sweetney who I don't think can contribute this year. JYD puts it all on the floor, which is nice. So supposing the deal is Mutumbo/Shandon/Frank W/Moochie for Robinson/Crawford/Williams, I'd be thrilled with a lineup and nine-man rotation like:

Marbury (Crawford)
Houston (Crawford/Penny)
Tim T. (Penny)
Kurt T. (Williams/Sweetney)
Dampier (Kurt)

That team could win 50 in the east, easily. And please no Antoine Walker.

Nobody in their right mind would want Allan Houston's contract...NOBODY. Just wishful thinking, which in fact is becoming more and more pathetic by each post.

I agree with you when you say that trade was one of the stupidest ever. I don't know what the hell Rod Thorn was thinking, but that was a horrible deal. It becomes even more dumber when you read the details of the trade and find out that all draft picks, but the Nuggets one I believe, are all protected. One draft pick, at least, is protected from 1-8..What the hell is that?! Horrendous deal.

And for the record, I too am a Knicks fan and I'm well pleased of my GM.

P.S. This just came to me, but what if Isiah, if he nabs J-Craw, turns around and involves him in the VC deal, if there ever is one.
" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "
