That draft with Swift was unbelievably bad; I can't believe Swift was a top 5 pick...

This year's draft was actually worse though.

Another damn center that we (Da Mavs) can't get... [censored] we ain't looking good for 04-05'... Looks like Dirk really is gon have to put up 25+ ppg, 10+ boards, and 4+ dimes... (Don't give me that crap about he can't do it neither ha, I think he can) Either way, wherever Dampier goes I'll have to be convinced of his consistency. But NY is KNOWN for ripping on people, especially their own. (Keith Van Horn comes to mind recently)

I really just hope that philly can get in on this trade stuff. I know they were talkin with the mavs about finely and/or walker and i read on dimemag (**grain-o-salt sold seperately**) that philly was oferring glenn rob and korver for damp. I wouldnt mind either deal: big dogg and KK for damp or big dog and/or KT for finely and/or walker.

I think they key rhing for golden state is that they prob dont want just another big body since they got davis from the blazers. Unless they offer something else, i dont see NY gettin this deal. Looks like damp will either go to memph or the hawks (if he likes money and i am pretty sure they are offerring him a $72 mil deal).

Sixers don't need Damp..By the end of next season Dalembert will probably be better than him if he just develops his offensive game,more...

Supposedly Thomas' new proposal was Crawford, JYD, and Pippen for Anderson, Williams, Harrington, Moochie, Trybanski and $3mil. Pippen is in his last year so I like that in favor of ERob and if we can keep Dikembe astrade bait for someone else then that is great. I think it is the best the knicks can get, I'mhopinthe bulls accept.

In Chris Ford's latest article, he said Dampier to the Knicks is basically dead...no need for Nazr since they just traded NVE for Davis. Damn. Also, the Knicks were offering Dampier 6 years, $71 million, and it looks like the Hawks aren't willing to overpay and have only a 3 year, $26 million offer on the table. It looks like he might have to try to get a team's full mid-level exception like Brian Cardinal. Too bad the Grizz went with Cardinal, but I guess they had no way of knowing how the market would treat Dampier. A sign and trade could still be in the works, but rumor (chris ford, again) says that Mullin in GS rejected West's latest offer of Wright and Mike Miller. So looks like this Dampier business may drag on for a long time.

What's the team's "young nucleus," J-Rich, Pietrus and Dunleavy? Maybe Murphy? Uggh. Thank god I'm not a Warriors fan. Anyway, if that's the case maybe the Knicks still have a shot if they offer two out of three from the expiring contracts of Dikembe, Othella and Frank Williams. I'd be fine with that even if it means no Crawford, because getting a true 5 can really help out in the East.
