    Bobcats and Sixers.

They are the teams I follow, and I think both quietly did well this off-season.

I'd still like the Sixers to get rid of Glenn Robinson, but overall I am pleased with both of their off-season moves, even if neither took part in superstar deals.

Hawks have gotten extremely athletic w/ Josh Smith/Childress, Al Harrington, Antoine Walker, Chris Crawford, Boris Diaw, Donta Smith. . just need a big man (Damp maybe) and a starting PG and we are on the map!

All that matters is that ATL has Antoine Walker. And that is never a good thing.

I agree, the Hawks have had a great offseason, although Walker probably isn't the best thing for them. If they do add a Dampier or big along those lines, they will have a fairly decent team, and I see Al Harrington really playing some good basketball this year.

The Cavs offseason has been a roller coaster, but I still see them coming back stronger this season with the addition of Snow, Gooden, and Varejo. Tractor Traylor is not a big name, but he does hustle, and will give us another big body.

I would say the Celtics have had a very good offseason. It started with a great draft bringing in 3 quality players, at least two of which will play a considerable role on the team next season. The great draft also made banks expendable and allowed B to package him, atkins and mihm for payton and fox, a deal which upgrades their PG situation and gives them considerable options this year and next offseason. With fox, payton and stewart, the celtics have expiring contracts that could be traded for a max player. In fact, the C's may very well trade fox & stewart for abdur rahim. Ainge's vision is starting to come into focus, and I have to admit, Im loving it.

Hopefully the players we picked up can grow together. I look forward to Gerald Wallace, Melvin Ely and Emeka Okafor to make a good frontcourt.
And then they could draft J.J. Redick next year.....just payin' with ya, they did a great job. They'll pat themselves on the back for not taking a stab at Antonie
Walker....of all the UK players in the NBA, I think he's the most disliked of them all by fans around here. Don't know if we're just jaded b/c he left after two years or maybe it's his Me-first attitude. He could be such a Magic Johnson-like player b/c he's got great passing skills for a big guy, but man, he shoots like 7-24 each game and gets away with it b/c he's flashy. The Bobs did themselves a favor by passing on him.
