      1) Jimmy Butler-has held it down with Rose sitting most games.

      2) Steph Curry- one of the games best point guards.

      3) James Harden- offensively carrying the Rockets.

I'm going with James Harden because the guy has taken another step forward in his progression and is easily the best player at his position. If they can get everyone healthy then Houston will be an extremely dangerous team come playoff time.

I love Anthony Davis's game and I think I've stated that plenty of times here, but his praise is starting to get a little overboard, as far as the MVP award goes, IMO.

I'll just be blunt, if Curry and/or Harden's teams finish in the top 3 out West, and nobody from the East takes the award, then Davis shouldn't even be considered, much less have a chance to win.

He's not playing better than those two are, and if you could say he is it's by a very very tiny amount. Even if he gets his team to squeak into the playoffs it shouldn't be enough, those two have their teams in the top 4.. Harden doing it with extended stretches with no Dwight Howard.

I think your taking the wrong way. I think most people would agree AD isn't really a MVP. You could even say he shouldn't be in the conversation because of his teams record. You can't deny his stats aren't MVP. If he can keep it up. He will have the highest per ever (in a season).

Re: MVP of the season so far?

oj is probably right. MVP winners is usually based mostly on the best offensive player on the best team. But looking at how much a player is carrying a team and how worse off the team would be without them, the fact is Houston's schedule has been pretty easy so that negates Harden's efforts. Curry is close, but AD gets the nod because his impact is on multiple areas on the court - Curry isn't going to step up and grab boards and block shots while bogut is out

Again this is if his team makes the playoffs....which is a big if.

Agree starting to think Wall should be in the MVP talks.

I like the list, other than Lillard being that high. I also think Westbrook and Gasol should be above Klay but after the top 4-5 guys order doesn't really matter anyways.
