Such a shame to see, considering our last two performances against San Antonio and Portland. Guess we were due for a let down game.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Spurs continue to play like dog **** and give up 100+ points, again. Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic........
I'm sad to say that Tony Parker is done as a starter in the NBA. He can't do anything at a high level anymore and his speed is completely gone.

That's on him for prioritizing his national team over the Spurs and not taking proper care of his body. He came back too soon from this latest injury which has robbed him of whatever speed he had left. Now, he maybe done as a starter - possibly even a NBA player - while the Spurs are on the hook for 3 more seasons at $43.3 million dollars. Sad, sad evening to be a Spurs fan...................................
Pop needs to seriously consider benching him or shutting Tony down indefinitely. Anything is better than seeing a HOF level player embarrassing himself (at only 32 years old!!!!!!!) and looking like the worst point guard in the NBA.Last edited by J_Posse; 02-26-2015, 01:35 AM.San Antonio Spurs 5 - Time ('99, '03, '05, '07, '14) NBA Champions

Re: 2/19 - 3/2 Games Discussion Thread
By wasting his prime years - just like Manu before him - dedicating precious time and energy to his national team during summers when he could have been recuperating or working on his game. By deciding that playing for France was as important or even more important than not adding more mileage to his speedometer. Now, we are seeing the end result of a guy that relied on speed and quickness losing those attributes mostly because he played too much basketball.
I know I sound spoiled, entitled and ungrateful but this was possibly the last go for this group and it has been derailed by the youngest member of the "Big 3" looking more broken down than the oldest guy ever has.
Anyone that knows me on these boards knows that I love Tony Parker and have rooted for him since day one. He has had detractors and people wanting to ride him out of town before but this time seems a lot different, IMO. It seems like his body can't do what he wants it to do and he's tentative in his movements like he's afraid of hurting himself. His play is reminding me of when Iverson lost that third gear and was just a middling NBA player.

Re: 2/19 - 3/2 Games Discussion Thread
I woudn't call that prioritizing and playing for his country was important for him, as it should. Now yeah he could definately have used some summer rest especially the last 3 years.
Maybe he needs some time off before the playoffs to re energize himself. Either way I'am really sad if it's the begining of the end for Tony as an elite player.Last edited by Vni; 02-26-2015, 01:52 AM.Comment
