Yeah how dare him want to play for his national team. SMH the nerve of that dude. Is playing/practicing with other professionals not working on his game?

Not sure you can regain all-world speed and quickness with rest and rehabilitation, TBH. I think in all likelihood this is what we'll see of Parker from here on out with occasional flashes of brillance.

His play has just been dreadfully bad and his lack of penetrate on his hurting the offense overall. People forgot how great he is/was with the drive and kick game and how dudes like Green and Belinelli lived off of it. They aren't getting those easy, clean looks cause the defense doesn't have to worry about collapsing on anyone's drive since no one consistently do that.

Whether y'all or agree or not, I don't care. This is the end result of him playing so much basketball and not giving himself proper rest. Ginobili made the same decision too but was much older coming into the NBA and hasn't raked up the amount of regular season, postseason and international games combined. Do people realize that at 32 years old Parker has already played the 8th most playoff games all-time (196) and is nearly at 1,000 (982) NBA regular season games played? Like I said, too much basketball and not enough rest.

You probably can't have such a successfull NBA career while playing less basketball. Not his fault if his team is in the playoffs every seasons and if he's had success with his national team too.

Without Timmay these games wouldn't even be respectable. That shouldn't be on a 38 year olds shoulders

The Bucks found a flaw in MCW's jump shot, he was turning his hip, according to the Bucks announcers. They told him they will work on it till he get's it right.

In the meantime, 7 pts, 8 assists and 2 steals in his first game isn't too bad.

And only one turnover in 18 minutes.

I think most of us here would kill for that since that means the team is constantly winning.

Actually you can, by take summers off and getting proper rest. You said it yourself, he's worn himself out with so much basketball the last 4 or 5 years. Boric Diaz and Tiago Splitter have had the same issue to a far lesser degree. It comes with the territory of having/playing internationally born players but it still stinks when this is the end result.

Yes, I realize that. I'm more speaking about his playing for France nearly each summer and how I feel it has been a contributing factor in his regression. Still love Tony, but his complete free fall in play is sad and shocking to witness. He was always the least appreciated member of the Big 3 and now fans are going to rip him mercilessly for the next 3 years.

Tony has played a lot of basketball and this is the result of how much success hes had.

I downloaded/watched the Spurs @ trailblazer and yeah Tony isn't agressive, never gets into the paint, doesn't attack the defenders on fastbreaks, and make a few dumb play aswell. He missed shots too but he's in a shooting slump that can happen. His %ages on the seasons are still ok. Maybe he has slowed down physically but mentally he doesn't seem completely into it either.

Anybody else feel like this season has gone by pretty quickly?

I guess that's what having good basketball in both conferences does.

Definitely agree...seems to have flown by.

It's kind of cool having no idea who is going to get hot and win the title.

The injuries and the Spur's sucking hurt though.

Celtics sit 11 games under .500 and have no shot at competing for a title any time soon, they do have chance at the 8th seed. A game back in the loss column I believe. Not always the prettiest product on the court, though anything is better than what was going on out there last season. If anything it's nice to have Celtics games to watch in late February that actually matter. Even more so with baseball far away and the Bruins struggling.

Believe it or not the acquisition of Isaiah Thomas has sparked a buzz around here. Casuals have started taking notice and caring again.

Cavaliers Vs. Warriors tonight, should be a good one..

Hopefully it lives up to the hype like the Hawks\Warriors game..

                                OKC\PHX ain't a bad follow up either...
