I have no idea how PHX only scored 24 in the half. I mean, SA played good defense. But still 24 points in 24 minutes is awful. Keep it up Spurs. 51-24 at halftime.NBA: Spurs

Usually like this if it's a tight game down the stretch.
Refreshing to see two of the youngest teams in the league in a defensive battle like tonight. Wouldn't be mad to see a 2017 Milwaukee - Utah NBA Finals

The one thing that Brooks can hang his hat on that y'all aren't giving him any credit for is player development. He may not be about ish when it comes to X's and O's but he's done a hell of a job with his players.[NYK|DAL|VT]

The organization as a whole has done a good job in regards to player development since Presti has been there. Not including Durant or Westbrook since those were can't miss choices.
Jeremy Lamb, Perry Jones, Steven Adams, Reggie Jackson, Serge Ibaka. In the cases of Jackson and Ibaka, they look like completely different players now than when they first got in the league. I remember when Ibaka wasn't scoring unless it was coming off of alley oops and put backs, now this guy has range from as far as the 3pt line(even though I hate it).
Even Lamb developed into a good role player for them and shown he can play in the league. Same with Jones even though I'm not sure why Brooks refuses to go back to them(unless there's some stuff going on behind the scenes that I don't know about).
You can knock him for the James Harden deal but when it comes to drafting and player development, they're(Coaches and GM)up there as far being one of the best in that regard.Last edited by ProfessaPackMan; 03-01-2015, 11:09 AM.#RespectTheCultureComment

I wouldn't even consider Westbrook a can't miss choice. He came in as a combo-guard with questionable PG skills. Ironically, Brooks's 'system' has allowed Westbrook to flourish because it's allowed him free reign and the ability to play through mistakes.
