Scott Brooks ain't going nowhere ya'll, for those that keep begging for change. At least not until the Durant stuff is situated after next season.
Not to mention the FO is probably going to give him a pass for this year with everything that's happened to the team all year long. I gave up on supporting Brooks awhile ago but even thinking about it logically, what sense would it make for the team to make a change at HC(unless you know you can get a better option)when you're best player is about to hit FA in the year?
If anything the time to let him go was after last season since you could've gave the new guy 2 full years(this is before knowing Durant/WB would miss the first 2 months)to see if he could get better results(read: win the Championship). Now that the ship has sailed on that, you have no choice but to ride him out the next year and a half, especially you're basically in "Kiss his *** until your lips get chapped" mode.Last edited by ProfessaPackMan; 02-28-2015, 08:49 AM.#RespectTheCultureComment

Who said he was going somewhere? We're well aware that they're gonna keep this fool employed. Doesn't mean we can't comment on the absurdity of it though lol.
It was just hilarious to me looking at that possession where they COULD have tied the game had they actually run a play of some sort, but in typical Scott Brooks fashion he had nothing but "Kevin, I mean Russ, save my ***" to offer. They inbounded to Russ with the idea of him running to the inside from the three point line and throw some **** at the basket? Not one screen was set to try to free him up, no movement from the other four guys on the court for any kind of misdirection unless we call getting the hell out of Russell's way movement? It's just sad to know they have the talent to actually win a title but a basketball imbecile holding them back.Comment

If you haven't been saying he needs to go or waiting for him to go for years(like I stated in the first sentence)then my post does not apply to you and you should just scroll on past it.

It was moreso my general thoughts on why he probably won't be going anywhere and to get people to think about it from the teams perspective. And not about what he should've did last night or any other night.

Brooks is awful and I think its pretty well-established that he's awful. But I think its still worth talking about but the Thunder could be SO MUCH BETTER with a coach that actually called plays and ran some semblance of an offense.
