And furthermore TallTell, I am not saying Coach Brown is a bad coach. I am saying this game was his loss. He made quite a few crucial mistakes. A lot of things during International play haven't been up to par as far as his decisions have went. I don't agree with his tactics, but in the NBA he is a good coach.

He has just made a few mistakes during this US run.

isn't it kind of tough to coach a team that can't hit an open jumper well? doesn't really surprise me that LB's making mistakes, I doubt he can coach the team like he wants to...you can't run any offense that ends up with a midrange jumper, I don't really want to know their fg percentage...part of this is on the coach, yes, but it's the team that has to implement the gameplan, and I think that this team wasn't set up well at all, hamstringing both the coach and the players

Larry Brown has convienently set up this team for all blame. He's spineless. His rotations are senseless. Melo is a great young talent but lets be real..he hasn't played well. LeBron brings plenty of energy but LBrown seems to have some agenda against him. When everyone including the players and media were giving Bron alot of respect for diving for a loose ball, Larry's punk-*** said something like "well he's 19. he's supposed to do that. its about time these players stop playing the game cool" WTF is that? Would it hurt to give the kid an ounce of praise you old fart? Had that been Tayshaun Prince and I bet the story would be different. His NBA ring was well-earned this year, but its been sickening to watch Larry Brown act as if playing the game "his way" was handed down from Jesus Christ himself. After 20+ years of NBA experience with ONE ring to show for, you'de think ol LB would be a liiiiiiiiiiiitle more flexible.

Say what you will about Phil, but at least he knew how to manage talent based on flow of the game.

I feel that USA can, and will still win the Gold. I have a feeling that the right team will be in the games when it counts now. We are in the tournament after we face Angola, and every team is pretty much 0-0, so if we play our game, we can still come away with the Gold. Will it happen? I have a pretty good feeling that it will.

If we win against Angola later on today, who will we play?

I think Wade has been hanging around with Marbury for a while. Against Angola all he is doing is dribbling and shooting.

I feel sorry for Angola though, and really hope that they get their win tomorrow. They have came out and showed a lot of heart and I commend their players. If they would have had their other starters, the game would be a tad closer, but not much. They are playing with a lot of heart though, and for that

And wow, that Marion to Lebron Oop was just unreal.

You tell me I bring nothing intelligent to the conversation, yet you "computer laugh" at what may be the most embarrassing attempt at a joke I've ever read.

On a side note, will you please point me into the right direction where as I can find a Popovich article that questions Larry Brown's coaching/rotation method? I'd appreciate it.
