    Re: Early 2004-2005 preview

Time for some Jack Armstrong's True or False.

The Knicks will win their division...False: The Raptors and 76ers will both give them a run for their money and I believe the Raptors have a better squad then the Knicks.

Kobe will lead his team to the finals...False: The Lakers can make it into the playoffs for sure, but if they face Minnesota or San Antonio I can't see the Laker bigs stopping Duncan or Garnett.

Vince Carter will have his best year as a pro...False: Vince will never be the same and everyone knows it. What is true is that he'll have a better year then the last 2 seasons.

i don't know how you can say in the same post that toronto will win their division AND that VC won't have his best year because the ONLY way Toronto wins the division over the Knicks is if carter reverts back to his old self. Because Raefer Alston is not going to bring you many wins.

the hornets are done unless the Baron becomes an MVP canidate, in other words they are DONE! Jason Kidd's knees will fall off by mid season when he actually has to carry a team that is not filled with tons of athletic swingmen.
I don't think childress will be a bust, he has been decent in summer leagues.
Melo, Dre and Kenyon will be the best trio in the league! Kobe will average 35ppg but followed with 8apg! Shaq's job is to clog the lane and sit in the post and wait for the ball while everyone else runs circles around him (and he will get MVP by doing it) Finally ABC sucks, i am just praying that NBC and TNT get majority of the games when this contract expires. The Cats will be better than expected and the Knicks will be a top 3 seed (as division winner). Twolves will show their age as cassell and spree start to drop off and the spurs will be back stronger than ever. Indiana will have troubles. and Detroit will actually have to play Darko(and he will fail).
Darko = Better than any Knicks big man, and he has more potential than any of the Knicks. Knicks a 3 seed???? What are you smoking???? Miami, Detroit, Indiana are all clearly better, the Knicks will be LUCKY to finish ahead of Orlando and Boston IF (and this is a big if ) the Celtics get Payton to play.

LOL yeah Marbury is not even a better PG than Alston, a better scorer yeah, a better PG who gets his whole team involved? Nope. And Crawford and Marbury are gonna have a huge difference, not enough shots for both of those ego maniacs. Marbury, unless he gets an absolutley great supporting cast he will never win a playoff series, he doesn't have "it"and he's not even close to a team player. And a great supporting cast is out of the question, with all those terrible contracts that good ol Zeke has brought in. Now that I think of it Boston is definatley gonna be better than NY even if they don't get Payton to play.as long as beantown stays healthy).

LOL someone from NY sticking up for a Knick. Homersim I think so. And we all know how Brown is, and there will be pressure to actually play darko this year. Every piston player has said Darko is really good, he just needs PT. And that's coming from the players who are the world champs. So I take there word over a homer.

i'll take a NYer over the word of a TEAMMATE, are they really gonna say that a player on their own team is horrible? I'll also take a ripped Sweetney or a skinny stick in Darko who breaks his hand in 30 seconds of play!
