Int'l teams would be hurt bad. In all honesty, there was never anything wrong with the NBA game, as Isaiah Thomas put it, "I dont think the game needs to be tweaked, it's the players that need to be tweaked".

sure usa got beat in the olympic tourney, but i think usa would win big time playing by nba rules. duncan couldn't move without a foul being called. the longer 3 would be huge and the def 3sec would expose their weaka$$ def inside. the euros would find it hard to make the playoffs , imo

They'd struggle for a year, and then adapt.

They'd make the play offs, even in the west, after that.

For certain.

How do I know? Because the Utah Jazz, playing TEAM BALL, almost made the play offs this past season.

With FAR LESS talent that most EURO sides.

Is it true that the Atlanta Hawks have consulted with the coach of spain's olympic basketball team ,to impliment a sagging zone defense and a team concept? Supposedly they are interested in a deal involving Fred Hoiberg or Voshon Leonard to bolster their outside shooting.

I still don't think they will compete this year, they just do not have the one-on-one talent of other eastern conference teams.

I doubt the rumor is true at all - not because it is funny or that it makes sense
- but come on, have the hawks even made one good move since drafting Dominique Wilkens??

I think any team that can shoot outside shots can succed in the NBA. They would have a little trouble playing man to man defense. The NBA needs to allow the zone defense to be played without limits and they need to call traveling calls.

If they called traveling the scores would be 50-60 points per game.
