Ben Wallace is amazing and literally runs around everyone for rebounds.
This is an indictment on his character if he did get in shape because he was traded. No other superstar player in the history of the game got fat while playing that I can remember.Comment

Re: Shaq lost weight ?!?!?!?
I'm pretty sure Shaq was in really good shape back in the 2000 season. His MVP year was when he ran the court well and had constant energy throught the games. He was getting UP for ally-oops and block shots. Then he started his weight gaining spree. Let's hope he doesn't do the same in Miami, where he is in shape for one year to prove a point, then goes back to the burgers. I'm hoping he keeps this up. Coming in around 315 would be really good for him. He stays in that shape and he'll be able to get that 2nd MVP award, which I think is something that he can do.Last edited by Dynasty4Kobe; 08-30-2004, 07:11 PM.Comment

Re: Shaq lost weight ?!?!?!?
I personally want to see him tear up all he can, because of the fact that in a few years, there will be no more Shaq, and the only real credible center we'll have in the L is Yao to watch.
I also hope he acts more like he did in his ORL days and early laker days instead of the jacked up attitude he had since they won a couple rings.Comment

Re: Shaq lost weight ?!?!?!?
None of us have ever seen a superbly conditioned Shaq, combined with the understanding of the game a decade plus in the League has given him. A Shaq at 310 would be filthy beyond words. Now I'm a diehard Laker fan, but last year with the exception of Malone, DFish and the Kids, there were no White hats in Lakerland. Shaq, Kobe, Phil, Gary, Mitch, Dr. Jerry, all let their egos get in the way of the team. But hey, whats done is done, I got nothin but love for Shaq, in fact, I want to see him rip up the League. Not because of any petty "I'll show you" Adolescent B.S., but because with his combination of size, strength, quickness, and agility he should have been unquestioningly the greatest player in the history of the NBA. BAR NONE. Even Mike should have been a distant 2nd. For him being GREAT has been good enough, but he should have been the BEST. He still can be. Does he want it? We'll see.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Re: Shaq lost weight ?!?!?!?
Is it just me, or are any of you surprised the dude Shaq was boxing is still alive?
Anyways... Shaq at 300-310 lbs would be outrageous... he would take the league over, with ease... plus it would take pressure off of his joints, and probably allow him to play longer...
And he did guarantee a championship, so he talks like he's motivated... looks like he walks like he's motivated too...
