It's not really 18 a year. The number goes up every season. But yes it averages out to 18. Just think there's a stark difference.

As for Aminu. Where were the insiders on that one? Dude takes one meeting and gets signed and no one knew? Instead it's the man dropping the actual bomb.

I need a list of every "insider" that linked him to a different team for public humiliation.

With Kobe's injury history and how tough the West is...that's going to be incredibly difficult.

We'll see how it plays out...but I don't think LAL will get one of the tier-1 FAs when it's all said and done.

LAL's are rebuilding yet no one wants to admit it.
The FA who wants to win now or expect a deep playoffs run next season aren't coming here.

LaMarcus has liked a couple of photos on instagram which were Lakers jerseys with his name.

what does that mean? nothing, but oh well.

Of course, our "inside source" at realgm mentioned max or close to max. Good to see this happen.

              Tyson or RoLo next.

              Thanks 23 for the report.

Plus, not newsworthy, but Dudley decided to opt in for the last year.

Portland had to give Lillard the max, but I'm not a fan of that deal at all (5 years 120 mil + according to Marc Stein).

At first glance I thought it was LOL worthy, but once you factor in TV deal, then basically it's like a MLE.

A waste of time & resources, that's what's in that power point.

Pop ain't setting up no 'killer power points'.

His 2 choices. If he chooses Orlando, Harris is probably gone.

All I don't want is them to spend lots of money stupidly. It's a long process becoming relevant again, and them going nuts handing out big contracts to a bunch a second tier free agents would be crippling. But I trust in them enough not to do something so foolish.
Yeah, my expectations aren't that high either. Realistically, I don't see them getting top tier guys like Cousins (through a trade) or Love (through Free Agency or S&T). Although, I'd love to see that.... Honestly, though I think they're fine at Guard so what I'd like to see them do is sign a wing scorer or a shot blocking/rebounding big - Harris and Lopez fit that pretty well.

The sentimental person in me would love to see them bring back Pierce. Heck, I'd also love to see them bring in a guy like David West. I know it was basically a lifetime ago (team wise), but when he went to the Pacers he narrowly chose them over the Celtics. I haven't heard of him being interested in coming to Boston and I don't know if I would want them to spend 12-13 million on him... However, I think a guy with the toughness and edge to him like West would help the team a lot.
