I just said last year about mid season with how well Mirotic was doing that having he and Gasol could allow yall to trade Taj and yall acted like I was crazy.

So we're just going to ignore the fact that Mirotic played well for a about a month at that point, we hadn't drafted Portis as I pointed out in the previous post and the fact that Taj hadn't cost us yet another game with his temper? Come on OJ, damn.

I concede they might battle for 8 but right now its too early to tell how the east looks after the top 7

I agree with that, but I don't think it should be terribly difficult to snag a spot by seasons end. Ya'll acting like the world is ending because we traded Hibbert. Biggest thing for me is if PG is still PG. If he is, it shouldn't be that hard to win 40 something games and get into the playoffs IMO. We'll see though.

It's going to be a much different team, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. We were going to have to lose West eventually considering his age and Hibbert is not worth his salary.

Fair enough, what would you consider a good return for him now? Do you think he would have a lot of takers?

I really hope the Lakers snag McDaniels. From my understanding, the most the Rockets can offer is the MLE for $5.5 mil because they don't have his bird rights.

Rockets aren't going to play him anyways. If there are teams out there who actually want him Rockets should look for sign and trade opportunities.

I don't want to help them out anymore lol. First we almost facilitated a Bosh signing by taking on Lin, now a sign and trade. I think we can sign him outright and they can't do anything about it. That is, of course, if the cap is a little higher than expected because right now we have a little shy of 5 mil left to spend.

You think he would be a much better fit that guys like Wes and Henry were?

I'm sure Duncan can't wait to hear one of Boozer's patented screams every time he touches the ball.

I'm not a fan of Wes at all. And didn't Henry have a season ending injury or something? Tbh I didn't watch any Laker games once I heard Randle got hurt, which makes me a bad fan but I was fed up lol. I think KJ has higher defensive upside than either of those guys, and if he can improve his three point percentage he can be a decent 3 & D player. I'm not sure if he'll be much better than them, but it's time to see some new faces.

I'm still at a loss as to why Tristan Thompson feels that he's worth more than 16 million per season.

Hard to say without really knowing Hoiberg's system. I'd like a bigger point guard on the roster as opposed to all these small guards we keep picking up every year even if Thibs has made them work for the most part. I think we could get a few teams to bite on Taj, just not sure what they'd offer.

This is what happened when dudes get gassed up all playoffs with hype. I'm surprised Delly isn't trying to get someone to back up a Brinks truck to his house yet.

Because he's Lebron's boy and if Bron thinks he's worth $16 Mil, than he'll get $16 Mil.
